Early in Don's guide years, an old guide and woodsman from yesteryear approached Don on a busy resort dock. The old timer saw Don readying his 19 square stern for a guided day trip and commenced some small talk. Don remembers well the advice given, "Keep your guests warm and dry, keep them full of expectations, offer good honest advice, and make sure they are well fed. That's your job, the woods and waters will do the rest, the area will sell itself." That was and still is good advice; Jasper Creek trips are not just about the superb angling that's available here; they're about the beautiful Northwoods, the scenic views, the wildlife sightings (moose, timber wolves, Bald eagles, Common loons, black bears, etc...), and of the feeling you'll get of pure remoteness.
The BWCA is a beautiful wilderness area that remains pristine for visitors today and will remain so for generations to come by following the rules below (click icon) http://www.recreation.gov/marketing.do?goto=/permitgeneralrules_72600.html&backLink
