Tow Boat Service

2013 Rates

A licensed towboat operator provides a beneficial service for canoeists  to all water based access points, whether their trip is entering the BWCA  or the Quetico Park. It is a necessity with any Jasper Creek guiding service; and this service is included in Jasper Creek's completely outfitted & guided trip packages.

Towboat service (per person - one way)

  • Wind Lake - $13.00 
  • Ensign Lake - $22.00 
  • Birch Lake Portage or Narrows - $26.00
  • Prairie Portage- $28.00

Washington Island - $70.00 (includes Prairie Portage Fees) 
Back Bay - $75.00 (includes Prairie Portage Fees)
The 3% US Forest Service "Use Tax" is not included in the above Tow Boat pricing.
