Jasper Creek Guide Service Inc. 2012  marks the 30th. year of experience that Don Beans has had serving Ely, MN vacationers, Jasper Creek Guide Service, Inc., established in 1992; has designed a wide variety of trip options that provides for most vacationer needs; and likewise being a small personal business, Jasper Creek can easily  fine tune each trip package to meet all your needs. Every trip is customized to ensure that your visit to the BWCA & Quetico Wilderness is filled with fond memories and fish stories; some true, and some maybe not so true.  

Now that you've come this far inside Jasper Creek's web pages, you obviously have the interest in a high quality BWCA and/ or Quetico Park wilderness trip. As you page through our web, take the time now to pour yourself a mug, and begin to jot down a few notes regarding your needs- 1)... the length of trip, 2)...amount of travel time, 3)... the time of season to visit, 4)...the species of fish targeted, 5)... the style of fishing that you prefer,  etc... Then visit these pages in depth with the trip options available, and select the wilderness trip that most closely meets your needs. Then talk to your group and make sure that you're all, should I say, "paddling the same canoe."  Go ahead and pick-up the phone, or drop us an e-mail, and we will assist you in tailoring the package to your group's needs. 

Can't decide on a trip?  Again, contact us and allow those 30 years of experience aid you in creating the wilderness vacation that you want.  Don't delay - guided trips are limited and reserve quickly. Early reservations are appreciated and are needed to acquire the limited wilderness permits.

The Fernberg Trail Outfitter (FTO)

Established in 2006. After all the years guiding and outfitting his Jasper Creek  trips, Don Beans began offering complete and partial outfitting services to wilderness vacationers. In part due to repeat clientele asking for such services; and with the opening of A Stay Inn Ely; and now the Jasper Lake 'Vacation Rental Home'  it just made sense to expand into outdoor equipment rental based from our lodging facilities.  Again, being a small and personalized business, FTO can tailor a completely outfitted trip to meet your needs.(Make sure to take a look at the 2012 Outfitting Special or our one of a kind  'Drop Camp' option with 'Day One' Guide Service.) Again, don't delay - as with any of these trips, either guided or outfitted, early reservations are preferred and are necessary to ensure a BWCA and/or a Quetico wilderness permit.
