The itinerary - We get an early start on day one; the key is to have camp up by the crack of noon. Then FISH! The guide prepares the main meal late in the afternoon while you and your buddies are catching fish right in sight of camp. The dinner bell will ring and as soon as dinner is finished, back out you go for the evening bite.

Sigurd Olson called the last rays of evening light "The Witching Hour". "A swirl, and the fly rod bent, and soon the bass swam in slow circles beside me. A swish of the net and it was inside, its red gills opening and closing, its tail beating a soft tattoo against the bottom of the canoe. Then again the rhythmic moving of the rod, the quiet drifting along the shore." (from The Witching Hour as written in his book Listening Point).

ImageThe next morning finds a hot cup of coffee waiting for you,  followed by a wholesome breakfast. Then out we go!  A delicious mid afternoon Shorelunch gives everyone a much needed break and again we all hit the water for more exciting action. Can't miss that "Witching Hour". The final morning, we're up and at it, breaking camp, having a hot cup of coffee along with another  hearty breakfast. When the canoes are fully loaded , we all hop in and fish our way to the predetermined mid-afternoon tow boat pick up point. It's that easy and simple.

Fish, Eat, Fish, Sleep, Fish- maybe not that order.
